REA is the Renewable Energy which was time-honoured in the year 2001 to represent the renewable energy producers in Britain. It is a not-for-profit trade association to promote the usage of renewable energy. The REA has taken up the task to help the members of the association to create a business environmentally viable. At the same time, they increase the supply of the renewable energy to the country’s needs such as heat, green gas, electricity, and transport. The mission of REA is to have a sustainable renewable energy economy. Securing the framework of legislative will expand the production of renewable energy and it is the main objective of REA. The REA has taken upon itself to commence the policy development and supplies input to government regulators, agencies, and so on.

Membership is given to generators, fuel producers, equipment manufacturers, project developers, and distributors of renewable energy. Members can be a major multi-national or a sole trader.
